MET Office Issues White Alert from Noonu to Thaa Atoll

The Maldives Meteorological Service (MMS) has issued a white alert for the region spanning from Noonu to Thaa Atoll.

This alert is in effect from 14:30 hours to 20:00 hours, today. The forecast warns strong winds of 19-24 mph with rough seas expected.

Residents and visitors in the affected areas are advised by the MMS to remain vigilant and implement appropriate safety measures.
