Ministry of Transport Urges Vehicle Owners to Renew Domain Registry Certificates

The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has called on vehicle owners to renew their domain registry certificates and permits following the implementation of new security features in the domain system.

In a statement issued today, the ministry announced that vehicle owners have a 60-day window, starting from 17 November 2024, to renew their domain registration.

Applications for renewal can be submitted either via email to domains@transport.gov.mv or in person at the ministry’s office in Male’. The office will accept applications from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on working days.

The ministry urged vehicle owners to complete the renewal process within the stipulated timeframe to ensure compliance with the updated security protocols.
