The Ministry of Social and Family Development has entered into an agreement with the Care Society to facilitate employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
This initiative will see the Care Society implementing a training programme for selected candidates registered with the Ministry who are seeking employment.
The two-month programme aims to acclimatise participants to the work environment and equip them with essential job skills. A key objective of this initiative is to empower individuals with disabilities in the workplace, thereby encouraging societal inclusivity and demonstrating the valuable contributions these individuals can make.
Looking ahead, the Ministry intends to collaborate with additional organisations to further expand employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.
These efforts are aimed at enhancing their quality of life and enabling them to lead dignified and fulfilling lives.
