MNDF Announces Recruitment Opportunities

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has opened applications for individuals to join the defense force, with a set of basic requirements for prospective recruits.

Applicants selected for the army will receive a salary and allowance of MVR 12,400 during the basic training course. Upon successful completion of the training, the salary and allowances will increase to MVR 15,500, with additional allowances determined by the field of work.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Maldivian citizenship
• Between 18 and 25 years of age.
• Possess good health for MNDF service.
• Have no criminal record within the past 5 years.
• No affiliation with any political party.

Application forms are available for download on the Ministry of Defense website (www.defence.gov.mv) and the MNDF website (www.mndf.gov.mv). 

Interested candidates should submit the application form along with a police report. The application acceptance period is from 16th January 2024 to 15th February 2024, closing at 14:00 hrs.

Forms can be submitted to the designated centers in the respective areas or emailed to the Ministry of Defence at careers@defence.gov.mv. 

Online submissions through the “GOV.MV” message platform are also accepted (platform link: http://message.gov.mv/en/messages).
