MNDF Officer Dies Following Shark Attack During Training
A young officer from the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has tragically succumbed to injuries sustained in a shark attack during an ocean training course in Laamu Atoll Kahdhoo.

The officer, identified as Mohamed Zidhan from Raa Atoll Ungoofaaru, was undergoing intensive treatment at Laamu Gan Regional Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit when he passed away.
Zidhan had been serving in the MNDF for over one year prior to the incident.
