MPL Management Participates in Cargo Operations

The management team of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has actively engaged in the port’s cargo operations to show their appreciation for the hard work of the employees involved in these activities.

MPL CEO Mohamed Wajeeh Ibrahim, along with the heads of all company departments, visited the port today to take part in the cargo operations. The initiative aims to provide the executives with firsthand experience of the challenges faced by port workers and to identify solutions for these issues.

Wajeeh stated that the programme, launched today with the company’s executives, is designed to give them insight into the working environment of the port operations. This will enable them to better understand the difficulties encountered and to devise effective solutions.

Another purpose of this initiative is to ensure that there is always a sufficient number of employees available for cargo operations. By involving employees from other departments, MPL can cover any shortfall due to illness, leave, or other reasons. This programme guarantees that the company will not face a shortage of staff for cargo operations.

He emphasised the importance of practical experience in cargo operations for all MPL employees. He announced that a programme will soon commence to provide all company employees with hands-on experience in cargo operations.
