Muizzu Constitutes the New ‘Police Board’

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu constituted the new Police Board on Thursday, per Section 75(a) of the Police Service Act (Law No. 34/2020).

The board comprises the following members:

• Aishath Noora Mohamed – Appointed by the President
• Uz Ali Naseer Gasim – Professional from a technical field
• Ahmed Azeem – Professional from a technical field
• Ahmed Saudhy – Professional from a technical field
• Hamid Abdul Ghafoor – Selected from the general public
• Uza Safa Shareef – Selected from the general public
