Muizzu Establishes Dhivehi Titles for Ministries Following Cabinet Changes

Following the recent Cabinet changes, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has officially introduced Dhivehi language titles for the newly renamed ministries.

The new names were announced through Directive No. 26/2024 and the changes were implemented under the authority granted to the President by Article 116(a) of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives.

• The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure: Imaaraaiykurumaai, Gedhoruverikamaai Binaaraa Behey Vuzaaraa

The recent cabinet changes mark the second reshuffle of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s cabinet during his current term.
