Khaleel highlighted the foundation’s goal to address the shortage of specialised doctors in the Maldives, strengthen the role of media in holding governments accountable, and increase the presence of Maldivian chefs in the tourism sector.

The scholarships will be awarded on a merit basis, with successful graduates offered employment opportunities within Nautilas Group.

The Nautilas Foundation is a charitable entity formed by the shareholders of Palace Hotels and Resorts, Manta Air, Eagle Marine, Reollo Group, and the Maldives Water and Sewerage Company.
