Ooredoo Celebrates Eid Across Different Islands of Maldives

Ooredoo Maldives marked the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha with a series of vibrant celebrations in collaboration with various islands across the Maldives. The telecom giant endeavoured to spread festive cheer and engage local communities through different activities.
As part of their Eid initiatives, Ooredoo teams distributed gifts to children nationwide under their “Eid Hadhiya” campaign, adding to the festive spirit and bringing smiles to young faces on this special day.
Similarly, Ooredoo orchestrated diverse activities across different parts of the Maldives in close collaboration with the National Centre for the Arts (NCA). These included traditional performances such as the Maali and Langiri, Bodu Beru, captivating stage shows, and exhibitions showcasing local artists’ paintings.
The Eid festivities were particularly vibrant on N.Landhoo Island as well. The day began with an auspicious opening ceremony and various cultural activities, including Langiri performances, Bodu Beru and Mali dances. The island resonated with the joyous spirit of Eid, creating memorable moments for all attendees.
The celebration extended to Kendhoo Island, where children were given a special bubble show and engaging games. Traditional dances and other festive activities added to the jubilant atmosphere.
Meanwhile, in Lh. Naifaru Island, Eid day featured a Maali parade, a lively stage show with Bodu Beru, relay races, and Bashi competitions.
