Ooredoo Maldives has initiated a photo and video contest, inviting social media enthusiasts to capture the essence of their new building located at the heart of Hulhumale’ and participate for a chance to win an Insta360 camera.
The contest, set to take place from August 28th to September 30th, is open to residents of the Maldives who are active users of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Participants are encouraged to showcase their creative flair by sharing either a photograph or a video of the Ooredoo Maldives Headquarters building on their social media feeds.
To enter the competition, participants must tag @OoredooMaldives and include the hashtag #MavesOoredoo in their post. It is vital to post the content within the stipulated contest duration and ensure it is owned by the user. Entries must be made public to guarantee entry into the competition.
The contest welcomes multiple submissions from participants, providing an opportunity to showcase a variety of perspectives and styles.
At the conclusion of the contest, a panel of judges, including distinguished individuals such as Mohamed Sharuhan, COO of images.mv and Photographer at the President’s Office; Abdulla Hafeez, Senior Executive at Ooredoo Maldives; and Ali Ahmed, Senior at Ooredoo Maldives, will evaluate the entries.

The winners, one each from the photo and video categories, will be selected based on the following criteria:

- Impact (20%)
- Lighting (20%)
- Quality (10%)
- Post Share and Likes (10%)
- Composition (20%)
- Originality (20%)
Video Category Criteria:
- Impact (20%)
- Storytelling (25%)
- Technical Quality (20%)
- Originality (25%)
- Post Share and Likes (10%)
Participants creating videos are required to adhere to specific guidelines, including a minimum duration of 30 seconds and a maximum duration of 1 minute. The judging process will culminate in the announcement of one winner from each category, highlighting the exceptional submissions that encompass the essence of the Ooredoo Maldives HQ.
This contest not only offers participants a chance to exhibit their artistic talents but also showcases the architectural and cultural significance of the Ooredoo Maldives Headquarters.
