Ooredoo Maldives Spreads Eid Cheer with Nationwide Unity Initiatives

Ooredoo Maldives marked the joyous occasion of Eid-al-Fitr by actively engaging in a series of initiatives aimed at promoting unity and happiness across the nation. From traditional celebrations to community partnerships, the telecommunications company sought to spread the spirit of Eid throughout the Maldives.
One of the notable activities spearheaded by Ooredoo Maldives was the distribution of Eid boakiba in Male’ and Hulhumale’. This long-standing tradition of sharing boakiba for Eid breakfast was continued with the aim of fostering a sense of togetherness among the communities.
In addition to distributing Eid boakiba, Ooredoo Maldives also gifted ‘Eid Hadhiyaa’ (Eid presents) to children.
Furthermore, in partnership with the Housing Development Corporation (HDC), Ooredoo Maldives organized an evening tea on Eid day at Hulhumale’ Phase 2.
Collaborating with Club Hulhu, Ooredoo Maldives co-hosted a vibrant celebration at Hulhu beach, Hulhumale’, which included activities such as ‘Fenkulhi’ , Tug of War, and other kids’ games. This partnership aimed to create memorable moments for the community and promote a sense of camaraderie.
The festivities extended beyond Male’ and Hulhumale’, with Ooredoo Maldives supporting various Eid activities in different regions. This included being the main partner for the Maduvvari Maestro Cup 2024, hosted by M. Maduvvari Council, and serving as the Bronze Partner for the Sh. Milandhoo Council Cup.
Moreover, Ooredoo Maldives supported events such as the Kudarikilu Futsal Tournament as the Digital Partner and the Eydhafushi Futsal Cup as the Title Sponsor.
