People Majlis Session to Reconvene on February 6

The People’s Majlis will begin its first session of 2025 on 6 February, according to the parliament’s secretariat.  

Speaker Abdul Raheem Abdulla has scheduled the opening session for 9 am. As is customary, the session will feature the President’s annual state of the nation address.

The People’s Majlis holds three sessions each year. The first session spans February to May, while the second and third sessions commence in August and October, respectively.
