People’s National Congress Membership Surpasses 65,000

The ruling People’s National Congress (PNC) now counts over 65,000 members, according to the party’s parliamentary group leader, Ibrahim Falah.

During a membership drive held in Male’ on Saturday, Falah shared the progress with reporters, noting that the party’s leader, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, is keen to increase membership to 75,000 by the end of November. Falah highlighted that efforts by parliamentary and regional teams over the past two months have led to a significant rise in membership.

The latest membership drive focuses on recruiting from seven districts of Male’, with similar efforts underway in Addu and other regions across the country. Parliamentarians and senior party and government officials are actively involved in the campaign to expand the party’s support base.
