PhD Scholarships Open to Study in Serbia

Applications are open for prospective PhD students to be nominated for a scholarship to study in Serbia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development announced.

“The World in Serbia” Project scholarship is offered by the government of Serbia to students nominated by authorities from Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

According to the announcement by the ministry, there is one slot available for a PhD applicant. Applicants are required to be younger than 35 years old and must have completed academic bachelors and masters studies with an average assessment mark of 8.

Successful applicants are required to attend serbian language classes and complete a test before beginning their studies.

The scholarship offers RSD 18,000 per month, free food and accommodation, healthcare, free preparatory classes, free resident visa among other benefits.
