PNC Submits 12,000 Membership Forms to ECM

The Chairperson of the People’s National Congress (PNC), Abdul Raheem Abdulla, has announced that the party has formally submitted 12,000 membership forms to the Elections Commission of Maldives (ECM) as part of its ongoing efforts to become the largest political party in the country.

Following a successful presidential election, PNC initiated a significant membership drive, attracting thousands of new members from various regions over the past one and a half months.
Abdul Raheem Abdulla, who also serves as the Special Advisor to President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, disclosed that an additional 12,000 forms have been presented to the ECM to date. He noted that approximately 20,000 more forms are yet to be submitted.
Expressing the party’s aspirations, Abdul Raheem Abdulla outlined their goal to achieve a membership count ranging from 25,000 to 30,000 by the end of the year.
