Police Begins Blood Donation Initiative in Honour of 92nd Anniversary

A blood donation programme has been launched for all police employees in celebration of the Maldives Police Service’s 92nd Anniversary.

Running from March 24 to 27, the initiative, organised by the police’s Workforce Health and Wellbeing, is open to all personnel within the force. The programme, which coincides with the Police Service’s anniversary on March 29, is aimed at facilitating blood donations for children suffering from thalassemia. The four-day event is being held at the National Thalassemia Centre.
