Police Warn Public of Increase in Fake Bank Transfer Slips

The police have reported a rise in the use of fake bank transfer slips in transactions and have urged the public to remain vigilant.

In a statement released today, authorities revealed that the fraudulent slips are being produced through a specialised application.

They advised the public to ensure payments are confirmed in their bank accounts before completing any transactions. This caution extends to both in-person and online transactions.

Victims of this scam are encouraged to report the incidents to the police without delay.
