The Parliament, on the other hand, was represented by Secretary General Fathimath Niusha and senior administrative officials.
Hassan Ziyau, Director of Parliament Media, announced that the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 17, to be held at Republic Square.
During the discussions, both parties also addressed matters pertaining to the compilation of guest lists for the parliament and various logistical arrangements.
It’s worth noting that President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih was previously inaugurated on November 17. However, he expressed his willingness to curtail his term to November 11 if granted a legal avenue to do so.
