President Confers Order of the Dignified Rule of Muleege Dynasty to CEO of the SFD

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu conferred the Order of the Dignified Rule of Muleege Dynasty (O.D.R.M.D) to the Chief Executive of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu presented the Order of the Dignified Rule of the Muleege Dynasty to Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid during an official ceremony held at the President’s Office yesterday morning.
The honour commemorates the reign of Al-Sultan Muhammed Shamsuddin and recognises Al-Murshid’s significant contributions in advancing the generous support provided by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) towards the welfare and development of the Maldivian people. The President conferred the award under the powers vested in him by Article 115 of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives and Section 3 of Law 1/97.
During a courtesy call held yesterday, President Muizzu highlighted the crucial role of SFD’s support in driving forward key national projects, including the expansion of Velana International Airport and developments in the health and housing sectors.
Both the President and the SFD CEO expressed a strong interest in deepening bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation. They reaffirmed their commitment to the timely completion of ongoing projects and reiterated their shared focus on delivering meaningful development outcomes.
Prior to the meeting, Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid signed the guest book at the President’s Office.
