President Heads to South Ari Atoll for Official Island Visits

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has departed on an official two-day visit to South Ari Atoll, this afternoon.
The President is set to visit Adh. Dhan’gethi, Adh. Mahibadhoo, and Adh. Omadhoo and meet with the Island Councils and Women’s Development Committees of the respective islands.

The visit forms part of the President’s ongoing programme of council consultations, which commenced earlier this year. With the completion of this latest tour, the President has now held discussions with 185 councils across the country, according to the President’s Office.
The President is accompanied by a high-level Government delegation during this tour.
