Sembe Commits to Cooperation with President and Parliament

Vice-President-elect Hussain Mohamed Latheef (Sembe), expressed his dedication to working in close cooperation with the President-elect and the Parliament.
Speaking at a ceremony held at the Parliament’s Social Club, PEMA, Latheef assured his full commitment to the responsibilities that come with the role.
Latheef, who was presented with a plaque by PEMA in recognition of his support during his two terms in Parliament, emphasised his readiness to fulfill the Parliament’s directives as he steps into a broader national role.
PEMA, a social club established by the Parliament for various activities, has been closely associated with Latheef, who served as a Member of Parliament for the past two terms. His engagement extended beyond legislative matters into the realm of sports.
Notably, Latheef participated in the “Classic” football tournament and the Bandaara Cup organised by Club Maldives this year as a member of the parliamentary team.
In addition to his sporting contributions, Hussain Mohamed Latheef actively participated in a variety of activities coordinated by the club.
