SJ Construction Rejects Reports Linking It to School Fan Accident
SJ Construction has refuted media reports suggesting it was responsible for constructing the classroom at Dharumavantha School where a ceiling fan fell during class yesterday.
According to the reports, the incident occurred in a Grade 4 classroom while students were present. Fortunately, no one was harmed, but the school promptly informed parents of the event. The Ministry of Education confirmed that a team had visited the school to ensure the safety of fans in other classrooms.
In a statement shared on social media, SJ Construction, which was contracted to build the schooll, clarified that it had not constructed the classroom involved in the incident.
“Our company has built over 27 schools nationwide and has extensive experience in school construction. We can assure the public that no incidents compromising student safety will occur in schools constructed by us,” the statement read.
