Social Awareness Workshop Held in Th. Guraidhoo

The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts has successfully concluded an awareness workshop in Thaa Atoll Guraidhoo, aimed at empowering members of NGOs, local councils, Women’s Development Committees, and other institutions.

Held from 17th to 19th October, the workshop was organised in collaboration with the Th. Guraidhoo Council, the Maldives Police Service, and the Asia Foundation. A total of 33 participants, including 22 women and 11 men, attended the event.

The sessions focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of laws and regulations related to non-governmental organisations, alongside life coaching and team-building activities designed to foster cooperation and leadership skills.
