According to the Ministry, a total of 2,707 students were screened for Thalassemia from January until the end of June. During the same period, 2,483 awareness sessions were held across 16 schools and four administrative offices. The students of Arabiyya School were the first to engage in this nationwide initiative.

The primary goal of the campaign is to reduce the incidence of Thalassemia by informing both students and their parents about the condition. As part of this extensive national awareness effort, additional information sessions will be conducted in government ministries and offices.
