Transport Ministry Makes Changes to Services Provided During Last 10 Days of Ramadan

The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has introduced temporary changes to its services during the last ten days of Ramadan, which have been declared public holidays.
Licenses for land and maritime vessels that expire between March 5 and April 20, 2025, will be accepted as valid until May 5, 2025. Similarly, safety certificates for seafarers expiring during the same period will also be extended until May 5.

Additionally, the ministry’s counter at The Umar Zahir Building will remain open on the ground floor from March 23 to March 30, 2025 (except on Friday and Saturday) for the submission of documents related to applications. Although the ministry’s call centre will be closed during this period, individuals can contact the Maritime Transport Department for urgent matters by calling 7212719 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
