During the trial period, the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) is offering free-of-charge travel along these two new ferry routes. The initiative seeks to engage the public in experiencing the service firsthand and acquainting them with its features.
Operational every day of the week, the RTL ferry services will offer convenient schedules through the RTL travel app and the RTL website. The service will be facilitated by two-speed ferries operating under the RTL brand, dedicated to serving the newly inaugurated ferry routes in Zones 5 and 6. These routes encompass the following connections:
- Fuvahmulah to Vaadhoo and from Vaadhoo to Fuvahmulah.
- From Fuvahmulah to Hulhumedhoo / From Hulhumedhoo to Feydhoo and from Feydhoo to Hulhumedhoo / From Hulhumedhoo to Fuvahmulah.
