The conference, organised by the Institute for Research and Innovation (ICSRI), will be held from 10-11 September 2025 at Villa College.

Next year’s theme, “Synergies of Discovery: Igniting Solutions for the Future,” aims to bridge knowledge gaps, promote interdisciplinary collaboration, and spark action-oriented discussions that can shape a brighter future. Both local and international experts will lead interactive sessions and panel discussions.

At an inaugural ceremony to announce the conference, Villa College Vice Rector Dr. Ali Najib, alongside ICSRI Coordinator Dr. Arun Kumar, IRI Dean Dr. Fazeela Ibrahim, and Mamduha Ismail, said the event will be held in a hybrid format. Dr. Fazeela also highlighted that researchers can submit abstracts physically or online, covering a choice of eight thematic categories.

After the review, participants will be invited to submit full papers, with the best submissions eligible for the ‘Best Paper Award’. Selected papers will have the opportunity to present their papers at the conference as invited speakers and they may also be published in Scopus-indexed journals, with further details provided on the conference website.

Abstract submissions are open until April 1st 2025, with registration closing on August 15th  2025. For more information, interested participants can visit https://icsri.villacollege.edu.mv/.
