Jennifer Musthafa, the visionary behind Bodufendaa and Fendaa Flavours, shares her enthusiasm for the event. "I've always been passionate about art, and since launching Bodufendaa in October 2021, our mission has been to provide a versatile space for various events," Jennifer reveals. "We've focused on creating stunning environments for weddings, birthdays, and corporate functions, and now we're thrilled to bring this same creativity to the Fendaa Flavours Fair."

The fair is building on the success of the 2021 Home Bakers Fair, which highlighted the growing community of home-based bakers that emerged during the pandemic. Jennifer explains, "We saw an opportunity to support new bakers by providing a platform for them to showcase their creations. The event received fantastic support, and we're excited to expand this year to include a wider range of food and crafts."

In addition to supporting local businesses, Jenny emphasised the event's commitment to sustainability: "We ensure that the events we have are plastic-free," she said, highlighting their efforts to create an environmentally conscious space.

Julisha Ibrahim of Bead Maldives - one of 15 small businesses showcasing at the event - is eager to participate. "When I saw the Fendaa Flavours Fair on social media, the event's location and format immediately appealed to me," Julisha says. "The fair is perfect for showcasing our local handmade products, including beach jewellery, tropical-themed enamel pins, and key tags. It's a great chance to attract new clients and connect with our existing customers."
