SIMDI and JEN Maldives Celebrate First ‘illy day’ with Exclusive Coffee Menus
SIMDI Resu, a division of SIMDI Group, in collaboration with JEN Maldives Malé by Shangri-La, held the first-ever ‘illy Day’ in the Maldives on 10 November. The event marked a significant milestone for SIMDI Resu. It introduced an innovative coffee menu tailored specifically to the Maldivian market, celebrating a longstanding partnership with illy that has flourished since the 1980s.
The new menu, showcasing illy’s renowned coffee expertise and SIMDI Group’s commitment to bringing global standards to the Maldives, was officially launched by SIMDI Group’s Marketing Director, Mr Mishal Didi; General Manager, Mr Yooshau Saeed; illy APEC Manager, Mr Stefano; JEN Maldives Assistant Marketing & Communications Manager Ms Zeen Mohamed; and F&B Manager Ms Manisha. Distinguished guests and media partners joined SIMDI Resu in celebrating this collaboration and sampling the exclusive coffee offerings.
The menu features unique beverages such as Coffee Manhattan, Date & Popcorn Freak Shake, Vanilla Latte, Hazelnut Cappuccino, Chocolate Cookie Frappe, Espresso Martini, and Caramel Macchiato. Each drink reflects illy’s commitment to quality, creativity, and sustainability, values that align seamlessly with SIMDI Group’s dedication to enhancing lifestyles through its diverse product portfolio.
As part of illy Day 2024, SIMDI Resu also hosted a special masterclass for representatives from local cafés and restaurants to elevate the coffee experience across the Maldives. The session provided tailored training, guidance from expert baristas and mixologists, and insights into curating menus that offer a world-class coffee experience.
