TWC’s Disco Fiesta: Celebrating a Year of Wellness and Fitness
Celebrating its one-year anniversary today, The Wellness Club (TWC) has invited people of all ages to join in the milestone, launching #DiscoFiesta from the 6th to the 8th of February. According to TWC, Disco Fiesta will be turning up the heat and adding some extra flavor to their GX classes.
In the realm of fitness and wellness, The Wellness Club (TWC) stands as a beacon of innovation and collaboration, offering a unique blend of rehabilitation and fitness services to promote holistic wellness.
At the heart of TWC's success lies a symbiotic partnership between ADK Hospital and Heat Health & Fitness, facilitating a seamless integration of expertise from certified Rehab Personal Trainers and ADK Hospital's physiotherapists. Together, they craft bespoke workout programs tailored to individual needs and delivering comprehensive solutions.
Reflecting on the transformative impact of TWC's services, Aminath Shiura Abdul Bari - Maldives National Basketball Team captain and winner of multiple athlete of the year award - shares her journey of recovery: "During the 2022 SABA Women’s Championship, I was going through a very serious knee injury. By the end of SABA, I was injured to the point I couldn’t even take a step." However, through TWC's collaborative approach, Shiura found relief under the care of Thariq Majeedh, Sports Physiotherapist at ADK Hospital, and Dheeba Ahmed Ismail, Sports Strength & Conditioning Performance Coach. "After treatment," she recounts, "I was able to play the entirety of the 2023 SABA championship without any pain."
Shiura's testimonial resonates with many others who have found solace and rejuvenation at TWC. From those who overcame debilitating injuries, to others who found relief from chronic joint pain, clients of all ages attest to the transformative impact of TWC's holistic approach to wellness.
TWC is not only a rehabilitation gym but also focuses on other services such as weight loss, improving body aesthetics, and general fitness and wellness. Its clientele ranges from ages 8 years to 80 plus, with special programs tailored for specific demographics such as children ages 8-15 years old and the elderly.
Looking ahead, TWC is poised to introduce pioneering initiatives aimed at addressing non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as diabetes, hypertension and high cholestrol, and promoting healthy lifestyle habits. With specialized equipment to address NCD’s and a commitment to community welfare, TWC continues to redefine the standards of healthcare and fitness, empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
