MPL Hands Over Greater Male’ Transport Link to MTCC

MTCC finalized the transfer of MPL’s Greater Male’ Transport Link last Thursday, where ferry and bus services were officially handed over to MTCC.

The agreement of 50-year service was signed by MTCC CEO Adam Azim and MPL CEO Shahid Ali.

This change comes after discussion among Finance Ministry, Transport Minister, MPL and MTCC. And with this agreement, all vehicles, vessels, and personnel will come under the management of MTCC.

This includes, 35 buses, 5 speedboats, 2 boats, and 282 employees.
