Saif, the Digital Artist

Ali Saif Mohammed, 21 year old digital artist from Maldives known to most on social media as Cyber-abstracts.mv.

Saif describes his life as a digital artist to be very exciting and something he enjoys doing. Saif says that he first picked up this skill for fun back in 2014. Being a digital artist requires a certain amount of passion towards it, and Saif says that it’s a time consuming as well. He says that sometimes it takes days, if not weeks for him to finish some of his art.

Saif wants to pass on his knowledge to as many people as he can. The young artist also believes that there’s a lot of opportunities for digital artists, and their work is being appreciated more than ever in the recent years.

Even with such support, there are people who undermine his work with the misconception that Photoshop is easy. Saif wants people to believe that it’s not as easy as it seems and that it takes a lot more than a software to bring an idea to life.

Adding to a last note for youngsters who aspire to be digital artists, Saif pleaded to try new ideas and software to enhance your creativity, and most importantly to not give up and keep doing what you’re doing until the results follow.
