“People should be able to vote for the constituencies they live in, in the place they get a service, no doubt about it, it’s very important. It’s a change that needs to happen even now,” says Ismail Habeeb, the former Vice Chair of the Elections Commission.

Habeeb served in the commission in various capacities under the administration of five presidents overseeing three presidential elections, three parliamentary elections and four local council elections.
