In this exclusive interview with MV+, Ahmed Mohamed (Kanma), the Vice Chairperson of Naifaru Juvenile, discusses the NGO’s focus on environmental and turtle conservation, which led to the launch of the Atoll Marine Centre. This centre operates one of the few turtle rehabilitation facilities in the country.

He also highlights the potential of using conservation work to boost local tourism and emphasises the need to encourage more Maldivian youth to enter the field.
